During my time at Compare the Market, I had the incredible opportunity to work as a UX Designer for a 13-month placement year. Collaborating with an exceptional team, I learned invaluable lessons that have greatly enriched my skillset.

BARBIE Landing Page
A landing page was created in partnership with Warner Brothers Studios and Compare the Market to support the BARBIE campaign. Social media content directed users to the landing page on comparethemarket.com to showcase different insurance options.
I collaborated with product managers and marketing in a larger team. I worked on creating the landing page with the UI designer and UX copywriter, incorporating feedback from the UX team and developers.
The landing page saw a large number of visits, with Meerkat Movies playing a major role in boosting the BARBIE movie box office.

Travel Insurance Date Picker
One of my initial assignments was to redesign the date picker for the travel insurance process, because the previous design was causing confusion and accessibility issues for users.
Left is the final design that is now live on the site. This was only after conducting A/B testing and ensuring that it not only improved the users' journey but also complied with accessibility regulations.

Roof and Room Illustrations
Due to my expertise in illustration gained from my Graphic Communication and Illustration degree, I was assigned the responsibility of revamping the home images to align with the new design system.
On the left side, you can find the previous images which were considered too vibrant and didn't match the new minimalistic and sleek design of the updated design system. My goal was to maintain the rooms' easy recognition while adding a touch of intrigue and modernity to the designs.
